The American Heart Association's Heart Walk promotes physical activity and heart-healthy living in a fun, family environment.
The Heart Walk is a 2-mile walk organized to remember and celebrate those who have fought against cardiovascular disease and stroke. The walk raises money for heart and stroke research and educational programs that help make it possible for many to call themselves "survivors."
Walking is considered the simplest positive change you can make to improve your heart health. It doesn't take much time - just 30 minutes most days of the week. Consider joining us!
The 2013 Clarke/Oconee Heart Walk was Oct. 3. See photos.
