Loran Smith Center for Cancer Support
Our Loran Smith Center for Cancer Support offers you and your family free guidance through your journey with cancer.
Our center provides free information, education and emotional and spiritual support to cancer patients and their families in north Georgia. It serves as a resource for patients before, during and after cancer treatment through support groups, individual and family counseling and an educational resource library.
Free workshops, seminars and individual classes address physical side effects of cancer treatment, psychosocial issues, spiritual concerns, complementary therapies and grief.
Donors and the Athens Regional Foundation help us offer these wonderful free services.
Help our Programs and Services
Our free programs and classes would not be possible without generous donations. If you would like to help, donate today.
You can also help our center through the In Their Shoes 13.1 mile walk through Athens. Learn more about the walk.
