The Midwifery Practice at Athens Regional is well-known in the community for our compassionate, mother-centered care. We provide warm, personalized healthcare for women throughout their lifespans.

The ARMC Midwifery Practice has cared for women in the Athens area since 1976. In 2011, the practice delivered more than 650 babies within the ARMC birthing center.

Services

The ARMC Midwifery practice has been recognized both nationally and internationally for our unique practice model, including our CenteringPregnancy® program, and for our excellent health outcomes for mothers and babies. The practice has a very low primary Cesarean-section rate.

We are a full-scope practice, offering not only pregnancy and birth care, but also contraceptive planning and gynecological services.
