Student Volunteers

Close to 200 college students volunteer at Athens Regional Medical Center each semester. Their majors vary and include pre-med, pre-nursing, education, business and psychology.

Our student volunteers can work in many departments. They include Anesthesia, Breast Health Center, Cardiac Cath Lab, Cardiac Rehabilitation, Coumadin Clinic, Emergency Department, Labor and Delivery, Mother-Baby, Oncology, Orthopedics, Post Anesthesia Care, Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, Supply Distribution and more.

Welcome back! We're glad you're returning to volunteer.

Registration is not required for students who've previously volunteered with Athens Regional but you must attend the placement session.
