Athens Regional Health System

Weapons Policy

Athens Regional Health System has a 'no tolerance' weapons policy that prohibits anyone, with the exception of law enforcement and correctional officers, from bringing any type of weapon into an ARHS facility.

A weapon is defined as any firearm, loaded or unloaded, knife, stun gun or other items that are generally used to inflict harm.

ARHS retains the right to define an object as a weapon under this policy.

If you have any questions about our weapons policy, call our Public Safety Department at ext. 3911.
