What to Bring to Hospital

We put together a list of suggested things you may want to consider bringing for delivery, mom, mom's support person and baby.

For labor:

  • Extra pillows (colored cases)  
  • Socks (two or three pairs)  
  • Special drinks (tea, juices, etc.)                 
  • Focal point   
  • Camera/Batteries/Charger
  • Music/Favorite playlists      
  • Lip balm      
  • Reading and/or writing materials
  • Baby book     
  • Laptop/Tablet

For Mom after delivery:   

  • Nightgowns/Pajamas   
  • Robe/Slippers          
  • Cotton underwear     
  • Nursing bras and breast pads  
  • Personal items/Toiletries     
  • Going home clothes (you will look 6 to 7 months pregnant)

For Dad/Labor Support Person:

  • Change of comfortable clothes   
  • Comfortable shoes
  • Pajamas      
  • Robe/Slippers/Socks
  • Toiletries      
  • Snacks

For Baby:

  • T-shirts/Onesies/Gowns   
  • Mittens/Socks  
  • Pacifier  
  • Clothes for hospital pictures  
  • Going home items (outfit, hat, extra blankets)
  • Car seat installed and ready to safely hold your precious baby!
