I am transplanted to Athens from Wisconsin, where I grew up in the Snow Belt of Lake Superior. I have been in Athens since 1994. I grew up skiing on both snow and water, loving the outdoors and also had a love for learning.
I am also extremely proud to be the only female cardiologist in the Athens area.
The practice of Medicine demands dedication and constant relearning of what is current. It also requires an understanding of people, forgiveness for their foibles and teaching of the medical problems of given of a patient. Communication is the key and must be geared to the single patient's level of understanding. Thus, the "art" of medicine. We must truly care for multiple aspects of the problems involved.
