In Their Shoes
In Their Shoes is a 13.1-mile, one-day walk recognizing and honoring those who have experienced cancer. All proceeds from the walk remain local, benefiting the free programs and services for all cancer patients and their caregivers at the Loran Smith Center for Cancer Support.

History of In Their Shoes
The walk was started by Anne Hansen and Gaylene Ward, close friends who were diagnosed with breast cancer within months of each other. After they completed treatment, they founded the walk to give back to the loving cancer community and the Loran Smith Center.
