Athens Regional Health System

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

Of the 2,500 annual deliveries at Athens Regional, 10 percent are premature babies who require extra attention and medical treatment. We're proud to offer your family that care.

The Department of Community Health (DHC) granted approval for Athens Regional to become a Level III neonatal intensive care service provider. It makes us the first and only Level III NICU in our 17-county service area.
