Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT)

The Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT) is useful for people who are experiencing a reduced ability to communicate due to diminished voice. Illnesses which may results in this dysfunction include, but are not limited to: Parkinson's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebral Palsy, brain injury and stroke.

Treatment consists of an intensive multi-session program that improves functional verbal communication with long-term carryover.

Low Vision/Neurologically Acquired Vision Dysfunction Treatment

This treatment is designed for individuals whose vision has been affected by eye diseases such as macular degeneration, cataracts and glaucoma and for individuals who have had a brain injury or stroke with resultant decline in the visual system.

Evaluation will assess abilities and limitations of daily activities including screening of field cuts, contrast, glare tolerance and lighting. People are educated about the vision system, exercises to improve limitations, use of equipment and strategies to help them perform daily activities.
