Student Volunteers

Close to 200 college students volunteer at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center each semester. Their majors vary and include pre-med, pre-nursing, education, business and psychology.

Our student volunteers can work in many departments. They include Anesthesia, Cardiac Cath Lab, Cardiac Rehabilitation, Coumadin Clinic, Emergency Department, Labor and Delivery, Oncology, Orthopedics, Post Anesthesia Care, Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, Supply Distribution and more.

New Student Volunteer Information

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with us. New college student volunteers for Spring 2017 Semester must register to attend a placement session. Sessions are limited to 65 students per day. Online registration for new student volunteer placement sessions are now open. Information you need: 

Returning Student Volunteer Information

Only returning student volunteers who served during the previous semester are invited to the placement session below. Registration is not required for these current students.

Please note: Volunteers with a break in their service (who did not volunteer this spring) must register for one of the new student placement sessions.
